The second annual Project Connect event is scheduled for February 5, 2009. This year the event will be held from 10:00am to 6:30pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Petoskey. Project Connect is a day of service for those in need. Last year more than 40 service agencies came together to give individuals and families goods, services, and a sense of community. Over 450 individuals seeking help with everything from a hot meal and food to tax advice to personal hygiene attended. This year the planning committee anticipates attendance to exceed 650 individuals.
